Friends of Coastal Forces are invited to join us for a fascinating journey through the remarkable history of the early Coastal Motor Boats, which first appeared during the Great War and endured well into the Second World War. Our speakers David Griffiths and Martin Kelly are leading authorities on the subject and are guaranteed to tell us things we’ve never heard before! Martin will focus on the history, whilst David will tell us something of the challenges of building the remarkable replica – CMB 4R.
The evening will be lubricated and fuelled by some high quality food and drink from the rather excellent Boathouse No 4 galley!
